The Indian Dream.....

Many of us have heard about the American dream which every American tries to live..
Living the American dream, many of them do carry that motto.
I wonder, why we cant have such  dream? Why are we yet skirmishing among ourselves and ruining the feeling of nationality.
We carry invisible borders of Religion, Castes between us and believe me, noone...no one among us is free of these borders.Those who tried to get rid of them were debarred from their respective societies.Why? Why we cant have a mix culture, religion?
I had a discussion in a group discussion session some few months back. There, someone said that maybe once the generation of our grandfathers go to heaven{with all due respect to all grandfathers, NO OFFENSE..I REPEAT..NO OFFENSE,I dont want a law suit on me for this post}there will be free flow of ideas among all the castes, religions.
To my surprise, I found that even people of my generation are keeping track of the lines, just the lines have become much faint now, but they are there yet.
This is what suffocates me, on top we all are like icebergs, showing nationality, secularism and equality, but deep down, the part of iceberg below sea level, thts what who we are, The Real WE.
All of us do follow this whole crap,pity.
This is what makes me think to leave the nation, but i cant just run away. Its my country after all, against all odds.
BUT, lets accept folks....all of us.....do have those lines drawn in our minds...sadly....
I tried my best to remove them from my mind...but the damn society never lets me do it....
There's always hatred between us folks...
I have an Indian Dream, one day people wont have those lines in their mind, one day there will be free flow of thoughts,people,culture across all the castes, religion....one day...Indians will become the true Indians...
I cant keep on telling people what to do...i aint no Saint....what i can do at the most is...I am going to erase those lines from my mind.....as soon as possible.... and if everyone starts calling me mad and insane for that.......there are always other countries where u can live.

Thanks to the affluent society that exists today, our generation of kids are running behind inadvertant things on internet. We care more about our fb posts, whatsapp statuses, insta stories than about big real life issues. Thats leads to us being very dissatisfied with what we have. I came across an interesting piece of literature today. Its called Missing Tile Syndrome. All humans have a tendency to look at what we dont have. Maybe evolutionarily speaking, it is important to look at what we are missing from our life. But in today's world where almost al of our basic neccesities are fulfilled,we tend to find more of those missing tiles. And maybe thats why we dont live to the greatness we aspire to be. The Commitments

There's this thing about Commitments.  They are known as commitments because they dont have any expiry date. What bothers me most is lack of people's courage to commit to something. Its something like  a give or take thing. You commit to something, you deserve a commitment in back. But its not always the perfect choice. Commiting to something is completely the individual choice, but what keeps me intriguing is: If someone is Commiting you something, do we have the moral responsibility to commit the same thing back? Or was it just his own choice to commit and that shouldn't mean any compelling behavior on the receiving party? This may sound insane or completely nonsense but thats what our life is all about...Give or take.

The Umbrella of Happiness

We are not constantly under this hypothetical umbrella. At times, there are things which throw the whole world under this umbrella like this New Year while at other some things throw us out of the umbrella. The point is: We can never stay under this umbrella constantly.  We have to get out of it in order to enjoy our stay under it more. Sometime, We have to move out and get drenched in the sorrow pouring out of the umbrella and sometimes, life throws you out forcefully. What we need to realize that we arent going to be kept drenched out all the time. We will get under the umbrella someday. Today its their day, who knows tomorrow will be yours.
